Regeneration in Rankine Cycle With help of steam extracted from turbine , Increasing the temperature of condensate water (LPH) and Feed Water (HPH) is called regeneration system of Rankine cycle on which the thermal power plant is works` How to charge LPH After load of generator gets more than 25% of rated then we can charge the LP heaters step1 open steam vent of LPH vessel step 2 open drain to 100% and close the drip step 3 open extraction valve and when pressure gets more than lower heater pressure open the drip and close the drain watching water level of vessel step 4 close the vent of vessel HOW TO CHARGE HPH After load gets more than 40% of rated we can start charging HPH one by one step1 open steam vent of HPH vessel step 2 open drain to 100% and close the drip step 3 open extraction valve partially by inching and when pressure gets more than lower heater pressure open the drip and close the drain watching water level of vessel step 4 close the vent of vessel
