SCM C30G Review part 4 Moulder/Shaper
In part 4 of the review I set up the Ring fence and using the original curved boards from the Garden seat back as a guide, I shape the new back pieces. I then fit the moulder fence to put a 3 mm round over edge on all 4 edges of each bench slat. I use an Axcaliber Aluminium Cutter Head - 100mm Diameter, 30mm Bore purchased for Axminster tools website. I use the supplied 40 mm rebate knives and limiters to shape the curve on the bench back pieces. I changes the cutters to use a set of moulding cutters which had a small round over as part of it's profile to mould to soften the edges of the slats.
