Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) Self-Massage - Release for head, neck, or face pain
This video demonstrates a self-care or self release technique for a muscle of the neck, your sternocleidomastoid (SCM). This muscle mainly rotates the head to the opposite side and pulls the head down and forward. The pressure I use is to pinch the SCM muscle and slightly pull it away from the body. Do not do this if you feel light-headed, nerve pain, or a pulse. Click that Like button and subscribe for more health and fitness videos!
