At the time of its founding, it was a railway facility-only company with no rolling stock or crew, and was nicknamed the "tunnel company" because almost the entire line was tunnel-based. Hanshin Electric Railway is responsible for its management and operation. I think Okai Station used to be a replacement for Sanyo Electric Railway's "Dentetsu Hyogo Station," located north of JR Hyogo Station. However, trains now run less frequently, making it feel a little lonely. Okai Station suffered significant damage during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
