Pro-Lite Smuggler Series Triple Travel Surfboard Bag Review
Matt Reviews the Pro-Lite Smuggler Series Triple Surfboard Bag: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/pr... Designed with Timmy Reyes, the Pro-Lite Smuggler Series 2+1 Travel bag is designed to dupe the pre-flight official checking your boardbag into thinking you're only carrying 2 surfboards! This bag was is designed to hold 3 boards, but only show 2 when opened. A false bottom allows one board to always be hidden whichever way the bag is opened. The Smuggler Series bags are constructed from a super-tough 600D Polyester with 10mm AIR-LITE foam for protection and moulded #10 PK non-corrosive zippers. The Smuggler is designed to carry 3 x regular shortboards with a maximum width of 20" or less with a thickness of 2 5/8" (boards larger than this should go for the Fish bag. The bags are cut 3" longer than the stated length which will allow for 3 boards no longer than 1" over the listed length (eg the 6'0 bag can take 3 x 6'1 shortboards). The largest board should be inserted tail first into the bottom of the nose section. Then the second two boards should be slipped nose first into the two openings in the tail section (watch the video below for a demo!). Lightweight it may be but this bag delivers the same levels of protection that a wheeled coffin offers but in a much more manageable package. We've all sat on the plane watching the baggage handlers chucking boardbags onto a cart, so don't skimp on the travel bag if you want your quiver to arrive in a surfable condition when you arrive at your destination! The Smuggler boasts a comprehensive list of features, including: a collapsible gusset with Velcro fastening so you can expand the bag to accommodate 3 boards and slim down the bag when travelling with 1 or 2 boards. There is also an external pocket with drainage large enough for a summer wetsuit and boardshorts, keeping them away from a sandy board. Key features include: Tough 600D Polyester construction, 10mm lightweight foam protection, sewn in board divider, chunky moulded non-corrosive zippers, large opening for easy loading, padded shoulder strap with stash pocket, moulded rubber handle for comfort and durability, inner storage pocket, external storage pocket, reinforced nose, rail guard around zipper to protect your boards, air vent to keep your board cool. It's obvious this Pro-Lite Smuggler Series bag has been designed by travelling surfers as it ticks every box for a travel bag. 4" deep at the nose and 7" deep at the tail and weighs between 4kg and 5kg depending on size (6'0 - 6'10). Pro-Lite surfboard bags look fantastic and have got your back when travelling with your precious surf equipment. Shop all Pro-Lite Surfboard Bags: https://www.boardshop.co.uk/brands/pr...
