How to Make a Box Cushion with Seamed Corners

Make your own box cushion with seamed boxing following this tutorial. This technique is the tried and true traditional way a cushion is made by using a top and bottom plate of fabric and cutting separate boxing pieces which are seamed together at each corner. Making a cushion like this means it can be made to almost any shape and size and a piping can be added, if desired. It also makes it possible to line up patterned fabric so it runs along the front to back side with patterns perfectly matched up, if desired.
