From his snotty guitar playing to his blonde hair, Doug Aldrich is definitely one of the guitar legends of rock. Even greats like Dio, Burning Rain or Whitesnake, as well as companies like Blackstar, couldn't resist his full, unmistakable tone. At the concert of his current band "The Dead Daisies" in Vienna in December 2023, we therefore had no choice but to pay him a short visit and ask him a few questions... From his first encounters with the guitar to his rise to the Doug we know and love today, he gave us a little insight into his life as a former fanboy, musician and guitar lover.
