World's Largest Axe, Nackawick New Brunswick

Today we are visiting to see Worlds Largest Axe at Nackawic - Cananda NB. Its just 45-50 min travel from Fredericton City. Beautiful place near river. The axe stands 15 metres (49 ft) tall and weighs over 55 tons. The axe-head is 7 metres (23 ft) wide, and the concrete stump base is 10 metres (33 ft) in diameter. In 1991, Nackawic earned the title of Forestry Capital of Canada. To celebrate, the town commissioned the landmark as a tribute to its heritage — and it was designed and built locally by a company from Woodstock, just 25 minutes away.
