Crank failure in Chrysler small block stroker

We had a surprise failure in the Chrysler by Chrysler on the way back from the Adelaide 500 last year. Made it to a few hours from home and we had a power loss. Luckily picked it up without destroying the entire motor and had her towed the rest of the way home. The original Nodular Iron stroker Crank shaft had started to crack near the rear main bearing and chewed out the bearing. Motor out and rebuilt (in my quiet time…) this time with better rotating assembly and higher compression. A little more exhaust too. Ready for Chryslers on the Murray 2024.
