Mrs. Beaton's Ham Ramekins | A forgotten 1920s breakfast that's absolutely delicious

If you enjoy the videos we make; buy us a cup of tea: https://ko-fi.com/glenandfriendscooking HAM RAMAKINS Recipe Beat the yolk of an egg slightly, add 2½ oz. of finely-chopped lean cooked ham, 2 tablespoonfuls of milk, 1/4 of a teaspoonful of powdered mixed herbs, ½ a small mustard spoonful of made mustard, salt and pepper to taste, and mix well together. Have ready 4 well-greased china ramakin cases, fill them, rather more than three-quarters full, with the mixture, and bake until set. Meanwhile beat the white of egg to a stiff froth, season with a little salt, and pile roughly above the level of the cases. Sprinkle with Krona pepper, replace in the oven, and bake until the white of egg is crisp and lightly browned. Serve hot.
