The Migrant Worker Visa Scam: How Britain Is Being Fleeced

The UK Skilled Worker visa route was supposed to bring genuine talent into Britain—but has it become a back door for low-skilled migration, questionable visa sponsorships and cheap foreign labour? In this video, I investigate alleged abuse of Britain’s Skilled Worker visa system and examine the consequences for British workers, wages, public services, welfare spending, net migration and the wider UK economy. Across Britain, convenience stores, supermarkets, takeaways, bazaars and other small businesses are registered as sponsors of supposedly skilled migrant workers. But are these businesses addressing genuine skills shortages—or has an industry developed around using visa sponsorship to bring workers into ordinary, low-skilled jobs? I explain why I believe Britain must reverse the post-2021 immigration settlement, close visa sponsorship loopholes, prioritize British citizens in the labour market and restore democratic control over immigration policy. This is not an argument against every migrant. Many people who have moved to Britain work hard and make a genuine contribution. It is an argument against a system that appears to have placed the interests of employers, migration industries and international institutions above those of the British public.
