How To Use Language To Change Gender Stereotypes | Urška Jež | TEDxDonauinselSalon

Urska Jez works in an NGO that promotes gender-equality and inclusion through contemporary arts. She teaches us how language can affect our view of others and gives practical advice on how to become more inclusive and empathetic with our language in and outside the workplace. Urška Jež has been a collaborator with the City of Women Association since 2006 and has served as the president of the managing board of the association since 2014. She also worked as a coordinator for Asociacija, the Association of Arts and Culture NGOs and Freelancers from 2012 to 2013. Furthermore, she held the position of Executive Producer at the International Animated Film Festival Animateka from 2007 to 2010. Throughout her career, she has partnered with various cultural NGOs in Slovenia, contributing as an organizer, producer, administrator of international projects, and coordinator of volunteers.
