Administrador de EGEHID recibe visita baloncestista Jassel Pérez

The general manager of the Dominican Hydroelectric Generation Company (EGEHID), engineer Rafael Salazar, received a courtesy visit from the outstanding basketball player Jasser Pérez, a member of the National Basketball Team. Salazar acknowledged the evident progress and development shown by the player, a native of Pueblo Nuevo, San Cristóbal, which has allowed him to bring honor to the country and his province. In a pleasant conversation, he encouraged him to continue striving and use his talent to achieve lasting success and inspire other young people who see him as a role model of perseverance. Jasser, for his part, spoke of his plans to create a foundation to support talented young people interested in the sport, providing them with equipment and uniforms so they can practice under better conditions and access greater opportunities. The athlete also expressed his desire to become an advocate for the most important causes in his province, promoting initiatives that contribute to the development of his community. These initiatives by the athlete were welcomed by the administrator of EGEHID, who also offered his support for these social causes. Currently, Jasser is also part of the Bayamón Cowboys, where he is playing as a reinforcement until the end of the Puerto Rican National Superior Basketball League season. Also present at the meeting was the Vice Minister of Nuclear Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Gaddis Corporán, who reminded the athlete that he is a living example of someone who came from nothing to become a role model, showing young people and children the positive side of developing and being popular.
