Directed and written by Michael Shanks, Together follows Tim (Dave Franco) and Millie (Alison Brie) as they move to the countryside to reclaim their strained relationship. After a bizarre encounter in a nearby cave, they begin to physically fuse—viscerally and grotesquely. As their bodies and identities blur, they are forced into a literal embodiment of codependency. Shot with visceral practical effects and dark comedic flair, the film explores how emotional entanglement can transform into a surreal nightmare—where love and horror become one. This movie was full of surprises! Both Dave Franco and Alison Brie do such an amazing job in the performance department. Michael Shanks is able to maintain an eerie tone throughout the film whilst still leaving room for some comedic moments. Really excited to see what he does next!
