As Bad As It Looks - Reviving A Homebuilt "Jeep" With Volkswagen Beetle Power For Field Destruction

I'm not even sure a mother could love that face. This is the Mighty Mutt, a Type 3 VW chassis with a home made flat fender Jeep-style body crudely attached to it, and some rotten woodwork surrounding the engine in the back. Tom Hergert with ‪@rocketresto‬ rescued this automotive tragedy from a junkyard situation in the middle of nowhere California, where it had sat dormant for an unknown number of years. Today, we're going to attempt to coax some life out of the Mutt, and if that works out, our mission is clear - to boldly go where no VW-based "Jeep" has gone before... The back 9 at Tom's place.
