Tekken 2 VER.A [Arcade] - play as Roger

This is a playthrough using Roger in the Arcade version of Tekken 2 version A. Read on below for more information... Roger is the personal sub-boss for Alex in the game, and he is a hidden playable character through the use of a secret command/code, shown below. ===== HOW TO SELECT ROGER ===== 1) After inserting your credits, hold the LK button. 2) Now press Start to go into the character select screen. 3) On the character select screen, with LK still held down, press Start, Up, Up. If you've done it correctly, Roger will be selected. ===== ABOUT ROGER ===== Roger (along with Alex) is the second animal fighter to appear in Tekken. As a non-serious or "joke" character, he fills the role quite well... so much that his son Roger Jr. has appeared in other Tekken games. I wonder if Namco were inspired by Roo from Streets of Rage 3? ===== GAMEPLAY ===== Roger is a derivative of King for the most part, but he does have a number of his own unique moves, which includes an unblockable Wind Up Punch, laying down kicks, and a Jumping Uppercut... which is very similar to the Mishima's Dragon Uppercut. ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / TRIVIA ===== ---- His Stage 8 personal boss is Alex, and vice-versa. ---- He is also Kazuya's personal boss. That makes Roger one of only two characters in the game to appear as a boss character for more than one character. ---- On the character select screen, him and Alex are the only characters where the image does not show their face. ---- His winning poses are the same as King's. ---- In the Arcade version of Tekken 2, when him and Alex are operating as personal bosses, their stage BGMs are the only ones to not use the personal boss theme ("Quiet Interim Report"). ---- In the PS1 version of Tekken 2, when he is not operating as a sub-boss, his stage BGM is the Fiji theme ("More Healthy") from Tekken 1. ===== ABOUT ARCADE TEKKEN 2 Ver.A ===== This is a vast improvement on the prequel as it is far more refined and fleshed out in all aspects. All the personal sub-bosses (besides male Kunimitsu) return and all them are playable through the use of hidden input commands on the character select screen. Every character in the game has their own stage background as well. Interestingly, it should also be mentioned that in the Arcade versions of Tekken 2, there is a setting in the options/operator screen that allows you to set either Baek or Jun as the regular character on the character select screen.
