Hi everyone, it’s Aejeong 🤓 Today, I made my own version of honey combo chicken and enjoyed a chill “chimaek” night (chicken + beer)! I started by frying the drumsticks in hot oil for 3 minutes, then added the wings and fried them for another 8 minutes— so in total, I fried the chicken for about 11 to 12 minutes! For the honey combo sauce, I followed a recipe I found on YouTube. Pretty convincing, right? Doesn’t it look good? 😋 The moment I took my first bite, I heard that perfect crunch! Then came the sweetness of the sauce, spreading all over my mouth— crispy on the outside, sweet and savory, just how I like it. The inside was tender and juicy, and everything came out just right. And of course, pairing it with an ice-cold beer? That’s all it takes to melt away the stress of the whole day. You know that feeling, right? 😌✨ Actually, I was planning to make all the chicken with the honey sauce, but I ran out of sauce halfway through coating... So I ended up having half honey combo and half plain fried chicken. But you know what? That made it even better—less chance of getting tired of the flavor! Once again, I had a delicious meal today and really enjoyed every bite.
