This is a rare, early model of the Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi signature guitar, produced during the early days of Terry's Terry's. It's the first model to bear serial number 1, and is a fan-favorite, highly sought-after instrument, known for being used by Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi himself, including at the 1990 NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen (New Year's Eve music show) and during his 2022 and 2023 tours. Featuring an all-solid wood construction and a thin cutaway body, it boasts an incredibly rich and responsive sound, even acoustically. Combining the warm, vibrant mid-to-high frequencies characteristic of mahogany with a solid bass, it offers expressive tones from strumming to fingerstyle playing. While there are signs of use and repair history, it remains in good playability. Its dignified presence, reminiscent of Nagabuchi's own guitar, is another appealing feature. We support the expansion of emotions. ☆Profile Hello. My name is Daiki Nakazawa, and I am the representative of "Ottoriya Guitar." Born in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture in 1977. An acoustic guitar I encountered as a child is the starting point of who I am today. It all started when I saw Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi on TV in the fourth grade of elementary school. I was captivated by his ability to pour his emotions into his performance with just an acoustic guitar. Then, in the first year of junior high school, I finally got my dream acoustic guitar and played it enthusiastically every day, constantly getting scolded by my mother for not studying (laughs). In my first year of high school, I saved money from a part-time job paying 650 yen an hour and bought my dream guitar, the "YAMAHA APX10S," on loan. Even now, that guitar is carefully displayed in an acrylic case in the shop. After graduation, I went down a completely different path. I've worked in various professions: vending machine sales, cabaret club waiter, brand shop manager, car buying, mold sales… But even with all these experiences, the acoustic guitar was always somewhere in my heart. My hobby grew into a side business of buying and selling acoustic guitars, which marked the beginning of "Ottoriya Guitars." The turning point came in 2010. An encounter with an excellent repairman led me to deeply relearn the guitar as a musical instrument. After several years of accumulating capital and knowledge through my side business, I quit my corporate job in 2013. The following year, 2014, I finally opened "Ottoriya Guitars." Now, I'm surrounded by my beloved acoustic guitars, and I spend every day meeting many guitar enthusiasts. I want to rekindle that pure feeling of "a boy from long ago" through the acoustic guitar! I would be delighted to share such moments with all of you. I want to be a presence that can accompany you in a scene of your life through the process of choosing an acoustic guitar.
