Blake Fell Horseshoe from Cogra Moss, Lake District National Park

Cogra Moss is a beautiful situated fishing lake nestled amongst the hills on the Western area of The Lake District National Park. it is a peaceful place with access around the whole Lake on a lower path or a higher path around the forestry on good tracks so popular for walkers. it is possible to access onto Blake Fell from here via Sharp Knott (Birkett ) with great views over the coast to Scotland. The route then follows a lovely gentle Ridge over High Pen and Low Pen to descend through forest back to Cogra Moss. It is worth a break here just to take in the peace and scenery of this place. ( Note : it is a fishing lake so no swimming is allowed.)
