And then the Rains Came-South Luangwa, Zambia
We prefer traveling in the rainy season due to the beauty of the scenery and the overwhelming activity of the wildlife. This year the heavy rains came early. We experienced a day of pouring rain, flooding and impassable roads. When we attempted to resume a group of safari-goers from our camp, we went off the road in a territory frequented by lions and hippos. It was important that we were rescued before the sun set.
