At the roundabout in Toluca, head toward Valle de Bravo and Temascaltepec, which will take you to the Calzada del Pacífico. 4. Continue along the Calzada del Pacífico until you reach the Tejupilco exit. 5. Along the way, you'll be able to see the Nevado de Toluca (although visibility may vary depending on the weather). 6. Pass through several towns such as Buenavista, San Francisco Ostotilpan, Mesón Viejo, Carboneras, and others. 7. Along the way, you'll find options to stop and enjoy local food, such as tacos de canasta, honey, blankets, and more. 8. As you approach Tejupilco, you'll notice the natural beauty of the landscape, with sharp curves and lush vegetation. 9. You will pass the entrance to Nevado de Toluca National Park, where you can see the Nevado de Toluca volcano if the weather permits. 5. On the right, you will find the turnoff to Valle de Bravo, a tourist destination known for its lagoon. 9. After Carboneras, you'll arrive at Temascaltepec, a charming town. Following the road, you'll reach San Simón de Guerrero, San Diego Cuentla, and then Tenería, which is a little larger and has gas stations and dining options. Between San Simón and Tenería, you'll be able to see the Chilero River and the old bridge that crosses the area. 11. Next, you'll arrive at La Cumbre, where you'll find a beautiful view of the town. 12. Continue the tour and appreciate the landscape. 13. Finally, you'll arrive at Tejupilco, known as "The Gateway to Tierra Caliente." Here, you can enjoy a warm climate, spas, local food, and many traditions and festivals.
