The Sacrifice of Praise That Unlocks the Blessing

Sermon at Malmo on April 26, 2026 Three week preaching series. In week one, we learned that fear is not the enemy of faith—fear is the raw material of faith. We learned to pray like Jehoshaphat: “We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.” In week two, we learned to stand still when everything in us wants to run. We learned that the battle is not ours, but God’s. We learned to take our positions and watch. But now we come to the strangest part of the story. The part that makes no military sense. The part that looks like absolute foolishness to the world.
