Istuimet kuntoon, nimittäin kääntyy! | Pakuprojekti osa 6

In this episode of my Ducato camper conversion, I upgrade the front seating area by installing a single passenger seat and fitting a swivel base on the driver’s seat. The passenger seat was sourced from a scrapyard and rebuilt by an upholsterer, turning a worn-out seat into something that looks almost new. I remove the original double bench, fabricate a solid and safe seat belt mounting, and test-fit everything inside the van. On the driver’s side, I install an approved swivel plate, clean the floor and wiring underneath the seat, and take the opportunity to route power cables while the seat is out. Once everything is back together, I test the seating position, swivel movement, and walk-through space. This upgrade completely changes the feel of the cab area and opens up much more usable space for the future interior layout — including room for a fridge, cabinets, and better access between the cab and living area. If you’re building your own campervan, this video covers practical considerations around seat swaps, swivel bases, wiring access, and layout planning. 👍 Like the video 💬 Leave a comment 🔔 Subscribe for the next steps of the build #DucatoCamper #CamperVanConversion #VanProject #VanBuild #CamperBuild #SeatUpgrade #SeatSwivel #SwivelSeat #CamperInterior #VanLife #DIYCamper #CamperLayout #FiatDucato #Bittitalli
