The Roof of Africa Changed Me | My Raw Kilimanjaro Journey to 19,341 Feet

This isn't a how-to video. No packing lists. No tips. No "here's what I wish I knew." This is me — a man, a father, a human being — who got on a plane to Tanzania and decided to find out what was waiting on the other side of everything I thought I couldn't do. I didn't go up that mountain with a goal. I went up with an open hand. Six days on the Lemosho Route. Midnight summit push. Below freezing. Legs that had every reason to stop. And something inside that just kept going. I'm still figuring out what that means. What I know is this — there's a version of you that you haven't met yet. Not because you can't. Because you haven't put yourself somewhere that required him to show up. This mountain required that from me. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Born in New York. Raised and made in Charleston. Standing on the Roof of Africa at 19,341 feet. God showed me something up there. I'm just sharing what I saw. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ One step at a time. 📍 Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania 🏔️ Uhuru Peak — 19,341 ft / 5,895 m 🗓️ February 2026 | Lemosho Route 🔔 Subscribe — more on faith, fatherhood, and becoming. 📲 jaymccloud30 #Kilimanjaro #MountKilimanjaro #RoofOfAfrica #UhuruPeak #Tanzania #LemoshoRoute #Fatherhood #PersonalGrowth #MensJourney #DoHardThings #FaithWalk #RawAndUnfiltered #AdventureTravel #BecomingMore #AfricaTravel
