El SINDICATO ANARQUISTA más IMPORTANTE de la ARGENTINA | LA FORA [EPISODIO 1]

How did the labor movement emerge in Argentina? What did an Italian baker in Buenos Aires and an English worker in 1840 have in common? In this first chapter, we explore the origins of the Argentine Regional Workers' Federation (FORA), the parent organization of the labor movement in the Southern Cone, founded on May 25, 1901. From the first Trade Unions in Europe to the massive influx of immigrants to Argentina, and including the major disputes between Marxists and anarchists in the First International, this video recounts how one of the world's most original and radical labor movements took shape. This is a collaboration between Café Kyoto and the Argentine Regional Workers' Federation. Written by Jacinto Cerdá, directed by Juan Felipe Salguero, produced by Alejandro Bosch, cinematography by Tomás Pablo Salguero, and original music by Sebastián Menutti, Gonzalo Rainoldi, and Eyka.
