Ultralight PCT Gear List - used 3000 miles

Here's the lighterpack for the nerds: https://www.lighterpack.com/r/9ffryj Pack 0:31 Outside pockets 1:14 Packed clothing 3:43 Ditty bags 6:47 Food bag 11:26 Quilt/shelter/pad 12:30 Fanny pack contents 16:06 Worn stuff 16:58 Used on my 2500 mile southbound hike in 2017 as well as a 500 mile section of Oregon/NorCal in 2018. Some gear was different on the two hikes but overall very similar*. This video purposely leaves out section gear like an ice axe or bear canister as the video is already a bit long. I may do a video in the future on this topic. I also tried not to go into too much detail on each item, so if you'd like me to do an in-depth review on a particular item, let me know in the comments. *The most notable difference is the pack. In 2017 I used the Granite Gear Virga 2. As I mention in the video, I wouldn't choose the KS40 for a thru-hike due to the low volume and need to carry a bear canister in the Sierra. The side pockets are also somewhat small and cannot hold a 2L water bag. For these reasons, if I wanted to stick with KS I would choose the KS50 for a thru-hike which also has bigger side pockets.
