高尾山 ケーブルカーからの展望と頂上への道 ＜Mt.Takao Cable car cab view and the way to the top＞

Mount Takao, 599 meters above sea level, is located near the western edge of Tokyo and is a popular tourist spot for many people and a training ground for beginner climbers. It is a place that everyone who lives in or near Tokyo should visit at least once. There is a temple called Yakuoin on the mountainside, and the area around Mount Takao has also become a training ground for monks. The path from the temple continues on to the summit and the lower mountain ranges that continue beyond. Cable cars and lifts are also operated for the many tourists, and the top of this cable car (Takao Tozan Dentetsu) has an incline of about 31 degrees, making it the steepest of any cable car in Japan.
