Lawa, a dance of the bassare people
Lawa, a dance of the Bassare people The Lawa dance is the traditional dance of the Bassare people in Ghana. It is also common amongst the Bassar people in Togo: that's because they are the same people. The division came about after the seperation of western Togoland from the eastern after the first world war. Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoy this dance of my people.
