Fleischer Cartoons Restoration | Behind The Scenes | Max Fleischer's Color Classics | Technicolor
Film technician, Jack Theakston, gives us an inside look into how we restored the new Fleischer Studios cartoon. 'Christmas Comes But Once a Year' is a 1936 animated short produced by Fleischer Studios and released on December 4, 1936 by Paramount Pictures. It is the 15th cartoon of the Color Classics series. The cartoon features Professor Grampy, a character from the Betty Boop series; this is the character's only appearance without Betty. Special thanks to Paramount Pictures for the camera negative scan and Deluxe Audio, Inc for the audio scan. Image restoration done by Thad Komorowski & Jack Theakston. #Grampy #FleischerStudios #ChristmasComesButOnceAYear #ColorClassics Visit / maxfleischercartoons to help us scan more!
