Which fish will win? We took the canoe out on beautiful Mineral Lake, Washington! A classic derby lake known as the home of the legendary 10-pound trout. With Mt. Rainier in the distance, we set out to find trout from the canoe. After trying worms and Kastmaster spoons with no luck, he finally dialed it in using a Kastmaster Royal Pro with PowerBait and landed one brown trout and two rainbow trout. After fishing Mineral Lake, we headed to nearby Alder Lake Sunrise Park, since Mineral Lake does not have a proper cooking area, and cooked the trout simply with butter and fresh herbs from the garden.
