Rail Journey: Manningtree - Colchester - Marks Tey

A very nice electric motor in these trains. Plenty of Whistle action as well. I'm in the 2nd coach. This was the 09:30 off Ipswich, heading for London. Here is the journey from just north of Manningtree to just south of Marks Tey. Notice the Sudbury branch train in the platform at Marks Tey. The entire journey is controlled from Colchester Signal Box. Notice the very long platforms at Colchester [Mainline]. Also note the passenger information screen showing "Mondays to Saturdays", for the Colchester Town Branch. The train is a Class 321. Notice the similarities to other Class 3xx trains, including 313 and 319. These units don't tend to operate north of Ipswich. Forward Left View: Manningtree North then South Junction (towards Harwich) Manningtree Colchester [Graded Junction] then Station Marks Tey [Junction and Station] (for Sudbury via Bures)
