AFTER FOREVER Opening with Ex Cathedra and Monolith of Doubt in Unique Reunion Gig on 5 October 2025

After Forever was the band that originally brought together Floor Jansen (now with #Nightwish) and Mark Jansen (now with #Epica) alongside founder Sander Gommans. Later, another notable musician, Joost van den Broek (now with #Ayreon), joined the lineup — proof that this band was the cradle of several remarkable musical projects. Though perhaps not as widely recognized today, After Forever produced some truly outstanding albums, marked by highly creative songwriting that challenged every member — especially the vocalists. In this performance, Floor was brilliantly replaced by Angel Black-Wolf (SheWolf), who brought her own interpretation to the lyrics, adding a renewed freshness and energy to the show. I highly recommend exploring their entire discography — particularly Decipher, which is simply out of this world.
