The three-panel split composition captures everything that makes this fight legendary: Mahito's unhinged, cursed-soul grin, Todo's razor-sharp composure mid-battle, and Yuji caught in the chaos — all at 120% of their potential. This was all about nailing the raw tension, contrast in character energy, and the dramatic black-and-white manga aesthetic. I used a Derwent mechanical pencil for the base sketch, Sakura Pigma Micron pens for the clean, precise linework, and Ohuhu alcohol markers to bring out the deep shadows and skin tones.
