Via Alpina Switzerland - Day 1/10 - Montreux - L' Etivaz | Hike

The Via Alpina in Switzerland is a 390-kilometer-long, challenging trekking route through the Swiss Alps from east (Vaduz, Liechtenstein) to west (Montreux on Lake Geneva). However, I start in the opposite direction and start in Montreux. A total of 23,600 meters of ascent and 24,800 meters of descent are made. Visits include the lonely Surenen Pass, Grindelwald, the Kleine Scheidegg with a view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, the Blüemlisalp Hut (not far from Hohtürli), the Oeschinen Lake, the Bunderchrinde and Rochers de Naye with a view of Lake Geneva.
