In this video we show off the new ‘Backpack Drive’ for the Tandy M100, T102, WP-2 and NEX PC-8201(A), PC-8300. The Backpack is a SD card storage solution that works like the Tandy Portable Disk Drive 2. It supports all TS-DOS functionality as well as having an extensive CLI (Command Line Interface). We’ll cover the Quick Start procedures to get you up and running with your new Backpack Drive. There are a few units available from the initial hand made production batch. Contact me at birt_j @ Soigeneris dot com if you are interested. We will have a larger production run made on a surface mount production line which will be the subject of another video.
