The Ultimate Istanbul Marathon | Cinematic

Day 2 in Istanbul was a beautiful mix of serene moments, sensory overloads, and an unexpected late-night detour! Shot on Pixel9 and Dji Nano Where we went today: Cistern of Theodosius Hagia Sofia The Blue Mosque: A stunning, peaceful contrast to the busy Hagia Sophia. Grand Bazaar & Spice Market: Diving headfirst into the vibrant chaos, colors, and incredible aromas (plus a much-needed traditional çay break). Balat: Wandering through the iconic, colorful historic streets. The highlights: During dinner, a question from the waiter about where we’re from made us realize how there's never a straightforward answer for us—being 2nd-generation Hong Kong and 1st-generation China, but calling the Netherlands home. Just a realistic observation over a great meal! Right after, I noticed I was the restaurant's 5000th Google reviewer. I jokingly asked for a milestone discount, and they actually gave us 15% off! 🥳 But the universe balanced things out quickly. On the way back, we took a bridge thinking it would be a clever shortcut. It turned out to be a dead end. We had to turn all the way back, resulting in a massive detour and a ton of extra steps. I guess life gives you a nice bonus sometimes, but you can’t always take the shortcut! 🚶‍♂️🔄 Thanks for watching, and see you in Day 3! ✨ #MısırÇarşısı #EgyptianBazaar #IstanbulStreets #GalataBridge #GoldenHorn #TurkeyTravel #DiscoverIstanbul#TravelStories #CinematicVlog #SliceOfLife #TravelAesthetics #Storytelling #VlogLife #TravelMoments #LifeLessons #NoShortcuts #Bicultural #Identity #TravelHumor #TravelReality #travelmishaps
