How Did We Skate These Tiny Wheels in the 90s?
Back in the 90s, tiny skateboard wheels were everywhere. So I decided to see what it was actually like to skate them again. For this session, I put a set of 40mm wheels on my board and headed to the skatepark to find out if they were as good as I remembered. The answer? Better than expected in some ways... and much worse in others. The biggest surprise wasn't the tricks. It was the rolling resistance. Every push felt like I was dragging an anchor behind me. Still, it was a fun trip back in time and a reminder of how much skateboarding equipment has changed over the years. Part nostalgia. Part experiment. Part skate session. Too Old to Bail
