‘Hard Rock Hallelujah’ is a heavy metal, hard rock song written and composed by Tomi Putaansuu, better known as Mr. Lordi, the lead singer of Lordi. With this song, the Finnish metal band won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens. The song is very different in style from other song contest songs. The group achieved a record 292 points at the song contest with this song. Hard Rock Hallelujah is undoubtedly Lordi’s best-known song and was arranged by Jan van Kraeydonck.
