In Vaghnagar village of Mahuva taluka in Bhavnagar district, about 15 villages have become cut off due to heavy water overflowing the causeway of the Butiya River. This situation has arisen due to continuous rainfall in Mahuva and its surrounding areas last night. Water started overflowing the causeway early in the morning, resulting in the closure of the main road connecting 20 villages that passes through Vaghnagar.
