Highlights of this weekends 1st XI cricket match which sees Dinting Cricket Club visit the Speedwell Cricket Ground in Round 15 of the Derbyshire & Cheshire Cricket League Division One Competition. Summer holidays have landed and we have 20 players unavailable across the club this weekend. Pooly, Will and George step up from the twos and a big welcome to Senior Mayne who makes his debut today having signed for the club on transfer deadline day. Despite having key names missing this is a capable team and Maynies message will be to work hard, dig in for each other and pull through the tough moments. A very warm welcome to our visitors Dinting Cricket Club. Dinting are having a great year so far having won a hat-trick of comps in the junior age groups. They’ve also won the Hawke Trophy Final in recent weeks and are a club on the up. All that said it’s 1st XI cricket on the menu today and there’s 10 points that separate the teams on the ladder.
