W Trek: Torres Del Paine of Chilean Patagonia
The W Trek is probably the most famous hike in Patagonia and for good reason. It covers some beautiful terrain in Torres Del Paine National Park. The trail covers 46 miles with around 10000 feet of elevation gain. While we opted to do this in 2 nights, most take 3-5 nights to take more time and enjoy the sights. We had to do it this way because of our schedule and because most of the campsites were full months before our trip. So make sure you plan well ahead! We just camped in tents, but if you are willing to pay the money you can stay inside and sleep on a bed every night. Because there are so many refugios and you can spread out the number of nights, this trail is really accessible to most people. Definitely worth checking out.
