This is a shortened video. The entire sequence from when the lights went on to when they went off was about 27 minutes. Time stamps: 0:00 - Bridge is closed off 1:20 - Liftoff 5:20 - Bridge begins to lower 9:05 - Quick glance at traffic 9:30 - Bridge slowly is reopened to vehicles. This is my favorite moving bridge in Chicago. I’ve been wanting to watch it lift for well over 10 years now and have tried numerous times to see it, and today I finally got to see it.
