In the northern part of Hamadori, the coastal area, of Fukushima Prefecture, the Soma Noma Oi is a historical and traditional festival which has been handed down for generations for over one thousand years. Overcoming the earthquake and nuclear accident, in 2012 the festival is to be held in the same scale as those held in the past. In Kacchu-keiba where samurais in armor on horseback race and battle fiercely to capture the sacred falling flag during Shinki-sodatsusen, with their thoughts toward the restoration.
