National pension reforms: what has worked and what hasn’t?

Europe's populations are now ageing faster, pushing pension reforms to the very top of governments' national policy priorities. As especially large EU member states prepare to urgently tackle their pension system challenges, important lessons - both good and bad - exist from earlier reforms undertaken in several EU members. At this event, we focused on some of the most important pension reform lessons from Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Central and Eastern European members, with a particular private sector pension fund view from Denmark.
