The Amazing Paul Reed Smith HDRX 20

Hey everyone, I hope you're well! I've recently my hands on a Paul Reed Smith HDRX 20 and it's understatement to say I've been loving it. I first came across this amp at the PRS showroom in Nashville and couldn't get it out of my head, not only did it sound incredible the price point was also very attractive. Based on a Jimi Hendrix Woodstock era Marshall amp the HDRX really opened my eyes and ears to the possibilities and sounds of these types of amps. I've tried to capture as many varied sounds and timbres as I could and keep the playing non style specific so you get a feel for the amp. The amp was mic'ed with a Sennheiser e609 into a Universal Audio Volt and then into Logic with no post production, the reverb came from my trusty old Earthquaker Devices Avalanche Run. I hope you'll enjoy the demo and leave any questions or comments below! Thank you so much for watching!
