In my opinion, underfloor heating has a number of disadvantages, which can only be assessed once you've started using it. For maximum heat transfer, the floor surface under underfloor heating should be tiled, as using laminate will cause heat loss. Although there are now special laminates for underfloor heating, marketing can't outsmart physics. Underfloor heating is very inert; it takes a significant amount of time for the room to warm up, and if you only spend weekends in the house, for example, it may not be entirely comfortable. Because of the long heating time, underfloor heating is difficult to save energy on, as you can't quickly heat the house and stop wasting the heat energy you've already generated when you leave the house. In my opinion, underfloor heating is a comfortable heating method, especially in cold weather, when temperatures are below freezing, especially if the house is occupied full-time.
