Khor Virap monastery Armenia | Birthplace of Christianity in Armenia | Noravank Monastery Armenia

Hi Guys in this video we will take you to the Khor Virap Monastery Armenia which is also the birthplace of Christianity in Armenia. We will go on a road trip from yerevan to Goris via Khor Virap and Noravank Monasteries both of them are very beautiful and scenic spots and have a historical significance in Armenia. It is believed that the Saint Gregory was kept prisoner here for many years and later they brought the chirstianity in the region. Drive to Khor Virap from yerevan is about 1.5 Hrs maximum and the route is very scenic where you can see the mount Ararat all along the way and the best view of mount Ararat comes from the Khor Virap monastery. Unfortunately it was cloudy when we visited so couldn't get the view. From Khor Virap we went to another popular and scenic monastery called Noravank Monastery on our route to Goris.
