When my husband cheated on me and left. I tell this story in the context of watching and reviewing the movie, HOME BEFORE DARK. I am 64 and share my life. I talk about how sometimes loving " too much" can become an obsession, where we lose ourselves to please the object of our affection. " I am nothing without him"...one of the first warning signs that you are losing your own identity, giving in to the pressure of turning into the person they want you to be. I share intimate details of the life I shared with my first husband John in hopes it might help others. The actor seen in the movie is again Austin...I think he did a wonderful job playing the part of a man so desperately in love. He is so much fun to work with and helps me bring to life the movie I pick to review. I am not allowed to use movie clips so I try to reenact the vibe and sentiment of the scenes in the movie.
