BETTER THAN BORACAY 🇵🇭 Bantayan Island Cebu is Paradise

Bantayan Island just north of Cebu is hands down my favorite island. It's not overdeveloped and it's still very much a local's island, especially where I stayed. Then went into Santa Fe to get a snack at the bakery and coffee at Uncle Brew. We spent the afternoon at Beach Montemar, recommended by Maria, and then visited Santa Fe Public Market to try taguangkan - which you can only eat on Bantayan Island. It's a chicken womb or ovary with an unfertilized egg and intestine on a skewer. It sounds exotic but actually it tastes like a boiled or fried egg grilled with chicken. I also loved Sandira beach and wanted to show more of the island but we were in rainy season and the next day it rained all day.
