Testing a canoe on the Seine - between Aimes Rd and Creek Bend Rd

The Seine River is a jewel that runs through the city with a wilderness like feel. The river often gets too shallow to paddle later in the summer but right now it is still wonderful - although you will need to bring a saw or be prepared to hop over downed trees. Paddling from the Perimeter Hwy to the confluence with the Red might take most of a day (26km) but it is well worth the time. I paddled the section from Aimes Rd to just upstream from the Centre Scolaire Léo-Rémillard where there has been a large beaver dam maintained for several years. I was trying out an T-formex Aurora Canoe from WeNoNah. More on my thoughts can be found here:    • Wenonah Aurora in T-Formex
